Making a simple to-go meal in September 2021
Once a month, on the fourth Tuesday of the month, our church hosts a Free Community Meal, open to anyone wishing to enjoy a hot meal, from 5:30-6:30pm. Everyone is welcome! Bring your neighbors, friends or family to enjoy a good, homecooked meal.
One of the reasons why we love offering these free monthly meals is that it gives our community a chance to connect. Some folks come because they need a night off from cooking, others because they struggle to afford a meal towards the end of the month, and still others because they simply need to get out of the house! We would love for you to join us!
Our next meal is Tuesday, April 26 at 5:30pm. Join us in our Fellowship Hall as we gather around the table for potato corn chowder with ham, fruit fluff, crackers, rolls and butter, desserts, beverages, and a healthy serving of community! Special thanks to Union Grove High School FFA Club for providing March's meal!
Cost: Free!! A donation would gratefully accepted, but is not required!
If you would like to sponsor a meal or assist in preparing the meal, please reach out! The Union Grove High School Key Club also lends a hand in serving most of our meals. We are always grateful for community help!
